About Us
Menu
Starting December 2024, we’re embracing a flexible dining experience as we adapt to a smaller team. Instead of a fixed menu, we now feature a daily selection of freshly prepared, light-lunch options displayed on the blackboard inside the café.
Our offerings change daily and may include a variety of toasties and paninis, hearty bacon rolls, homemade scones, and savory sausage rolls, alongside other freshly baked pastries. To celebrate the season, we’ll also showcase a rotating selection of festive desserts like Christmas puddings, mince pies, and yule logs, available on different days.

Pair your meal with a cup of our exceptional coffee or treat yourself to a slice of our irresistible cakes. Every visit now offers something new to enjoy, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to experience it all.
The Farm Shop
As a testament to our commitment to supporting local artisans and businesses, our farm shop proudly stocks a variety of locally-sourced items from top producers in the region (with most items sourced within a 15-mile radius of Mistley).
From everyday essentials like potatoes to delightful treats, our shelves are brimming with an assortment of quality products for you to enjoy. Revel in the sweetness of local honey, jams, chutneys, and marmalades; savour farm-fresh eggs; explore an array of baked goods, including cakes and pies; find snack items like biscuits and crisps; and choose from a wide selection of bottled drinks. Our farm shop is constantly evolving with new items being sourced regularly.

Welcome to The Church-View Café, located on the outskirts of Mistley opposite St Mary & St Michael's Church.

Rooted in the rich legacy of Mistley Place Park Tearooms, our family-owned establishment is committed to continuing the cherished traditions of warm hospitality and culinary excellence at affordable prices. Having closed its doors in 2020, the café is now set to reopen under the same family, proudly entering its second generation of ownership: ensuring a fresh yet somewhat familiar experience for our patrons.
